Welcome to the Volta course!

Volta is a free desktop app that allows DJs to create and perform 3D audio-reactive visuals! Our mission at Volta is to democratize XR creation, so that we can provide you with the same performance tools as the biggest acts on the planet, and also offer a new way to make a living from music.

Volta allows you to build and perform in a world of your own making, where your fans can interact and even pay to have an impact on the show, whether you’re in your home studio or on a stage.

We’ve made Volta free so that everyone can have access to the new future of interactive entertainment. We only make money when you do, so we are invested in helping you make the most out of our platform.

In this course, we’ll walk you through how to get the most out of Volta, how to create the best and most engaging performances possible, and how to stand out from the crowd and make a living from your music.

Volta produces visuals in real-time and therefore does require a relatively powerful computer. Our minimum recommended specs for Windows are:

Processor: Core i5- 7500/ Ryzen 5 1600

Memory: 12GB Ram

Graphics: GTX 1060/ RX 580- 6GB VRAM

And for Mac:

Anything running Apple Silicon chips (M1, M2 processors etc.)

We do not currently support Intel Macs.
